Vinòforum is back , a piece of pop among pizza and high quality wine and sustainability

More than 2 thousand  wine tags, more than 15 chefs and 25 temporary restaurants. But that’s not all. This year the surprise is pizza, placed at the center of  Vinòforum 2015, the new edition of the popular  festival for gourmet, indeed,  this year covers Italian table’s queen, with  11 excellent pizza maker.
From 12th to 21st June, in the traditional site of Lungotevere Maresciallo Diaz, Farnesina area,  kermesse will be hold, which is now a fixed appointment for true delicate palates, not only roman ones. Marta Leonori, council member of “Roma Produttiva”, explains: «Vinòforum  is for us an appointment  which modernises each year, and it has therefore its continuity». It’s « also a way to show and to show our city’s excellent products, by adding them to several activities. We’ll do this by raising awareness about  our excellences and also about food culture. That’s why it’s an important event, this is why we collocate, as Istitution, next to organisers ». The assessor ends with a thinking: « I appreciate a lot kermesse’s attention on sustainability»
The absolute protagonist is, of course, wine. That’s possible thank to the attendance of the most well-known Italian and international wine companies, which present in this way their products by offering tastes, events and technical meetings with a particular attention on sectors’ operators.
The collaboration with the “Fondazione Italiana Sommelier” has been renewed, and it is present in the area with a stand dedicated to the wine culture. By offering many small courses to the the public, they are trying to create a specific culture of the use of the product, which can be enjoyed in all its spectrum of possibilities.
The appointment  with “Cantine da Chef” is guaranteed. Another amazing moment of the exhibition. Starred Chefs, received by Arcangelo Dandini’s room’s host, offer their dishes, paired with other well-known cellars. World’s cookery is represented, this year, by the South African Chef Sacha Kingston. Feminine universe is symbolised in kermesse, by excellent Katia Maccari’s hands. The Chef Andrea Aprea will combine his dishes with champagne Perrier Jouet.
On 18th June the starred Chef Heinz Beck will arrive in Vinòforum with his dishes, paired with Domaine Vincent Girardin’s wines.
Temporary restaurants will let you taste the best italian restaurant’s dishes for a absolutely convenient price: from 4 to 6Euros. It starts with Locanda del Poeta, the it continues with Pascucci al Porticciolo, l’Angelo d’Abruzzo and many other stands.
Pizza is the newness of the year. Each evening it will be proposed a food show dedicated to sector’s operators, lovers and journalists. The pizza area will be accessible for public to taste it. Among the 11 masters who will be present in Vinòforum, there will be excellent ones such as Stefano Callegari, Enzo Coccia, Salvatore di Matteo and many others.
The Expo assists 2015 edition that’s why the exhibition’s aim is sensitising public to an aware and ethical use of cookery.
The preview of June 5th ”Roma Wine & Food Week” will be only a foretaste of what is waiting for romans in Vinòforum. More than 600 events in the Capital city will guarantee to participants a real and pleasant  taste scavenger hunt. All the best restaurants will show their offers: starred and none starred menus. Francesco Apreda starts the exhibition with “Sapori di Viaggio”, in Imàgo. For the eco-friendly participants, Bistro Bio  opens the doors for an immersion in certificated biological world.
