On the occasion of the entrance into the Steering Committee of the YTL Opera Theatre, the Chief Executive Officer of Francis Yeoh’s group will offer to the city of Rome a huge concert at Caracalla on July 19. The proceeds will be donated to UNICEF. It is a show open to everyone, with free admission and the possibility to make an open donation. It will be a night characterized by amazing music, with the baths on the background, which will see the comeback of José Carreras, hence the exhibition of tenors Russel Watson and Alessandro Safina, of the flautist Andrea Griminelli, of the soprano Cynthia Lawrence and of the mezzo-soprano Carly Paoli. The Rome United Orchestra directed by David Giménez will accompany them. This line up has to be considered as an “in progress” one, still to be completed, which will surprise the audience by presenting on the stage a few worldwide famous figures. It will be possible to collect the tickets from Friday the 4th at the ticket office of the Opera Theatre (in Beniamino Gigli Square) and at the moment of the pick-up also the modality to make the open donation will be received.
