Perugia an international season at Cucinelli: from Charlotte Rampling to Trintignant

Presented on september 23rd the theatral season 2015/2016 of Teatro Stabile of Perugia, a season which will offer proses, edited by TSU, and music, curated by Hermans Accademy.

Franco Ruggeri, TSU’s director, has guaranteed a “strong international breath for the new season”, in particular with two exclusive events which will bring to Solomeo “Grandi di Francia” such as Charlotte Rampling. The actress will perform a play which connects Britten’s music to  Sulvia Platt’s ( on octber 17th ), and Jean Louis Trintignant will perform Rimbaud, Apollinaire and Prevert’s  ( on april 1st ) tests.

Furthermore, another ‘plus’ for Cucinelli is the canadian dance company Cas Public, which will perform during the opening show on october 11th. ‘Variazioni Goldberg’  Bach’s music will be used by  Glenn Gould, the landmark of Bach’s interpretation.

Battlefield will be played during the closing ( may 19th 20th ), a small Peter Brook’s revision for his famous Mahabharata.
Beside these foreign names, there are many other italian ones: Ottavia Piccolo, Monica Guerritore, Toni Servillo, i Fratelli Mancuso ( in a Tsu’s production inspired by Pasolini). There will also be the Company of the young actors of San Patrignano in “Francesco povero”.
Music section, illustrated by Fabio Ciofini,  Hermans Accademy’s director, is focused on new faces, thanks to the scholarship for the best graduates of Perugia and Terni’s conservatories, who will jump on the stage for a recital in Cucinelli on january 10th.

In addiction, three concerts wull be recorded to make a CD: Christmas Carols, Vivaldi “reused” during the execution in Hermans Accademy and  Haendel’s airs performed by Roberta Invernizzi, an important name in the Baroque’s repertory.

It will also be presented “La Pantomima rinata“, a show that builds a score, last incomplete, by Mozart composed for the 1783’s carnival. The test has been reworked by Quirino Principe. There will be many other perfomer such as Quartetto Skampa (a Schubert’s classic, ‘Death and the Maiden’),   Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt the cellist, the young umbrian pianist Alessia Cecchetti,  Massimo Mercelli th flautis with Nicoletta Sanzin the harpist. Before the recital ( on march 19th ) of Sabrina Lanzi ( piano player ), Luigi Borgato will explain how is an artisan piano is made.
